In this time of concern over the spread and containment of novel coronavirus, Wyoming communities, businesses and individuals are reaching out to a variety of organizations and agencies for information and assistance including chambers of commerce around the state.
Wyoming Public Media is here to help provide additional support to your business community. Their goal is to ensure they have accurate messages in front of their audience. One of their community service opportunities revolves around a “virtual” events calendar and public service announcement messaging for non-profit, human service organizations.
Chamber members and community resource organizations are invited to post to Wyoming Public Media’s online virtual events calendar. To post, click on the “Submit Event” link on Wyoming Public Media.org. and enter the information requested.
Events posted to the calendar have an additional opportunity be read live, on-air as public service announcements as the news cycle and time permit. This is a great opportunity for announcements potentially to air during peak listener times.
Wyoming Public Media is working diligently to stay on-air and online, continuing to provide reliable information and, hopefully, some much needed music, cultural programming, and entertainment.
Should you have questions about the Events Calendar or public service announcements, please reach out to Wyoming Public Media Genearl Manager Christina Kuzmych, or office manager, Diana Denison, at 307-766-4240.
