In honor and memory of Gillette College’s former Director of Business Education, John V. McGuire, the college is beginning a lecture series, each month of the school semester, that focuses on Business.
The first scheduled speaker is Prof. Kent Noble from the University of Wyoming. The lecture begins Thursday night, Feb. 6, 2020, at 7pm.
Prof. Noble will give a dynamic presentation about “personal branding,” called What’s Your Brand? In this session, three personal branding questions will be asked: Who am I? – How do others see me? – How can I improve my brand? In order to have a great brand, you need to be known for your integrity, a positive attitude, and grit!
Briefly, the program starts with a quick self-evaluation exercise. Then time will be spent discussing ways you can enhance your brands in each of these three areas. Toward the end of the training, each participant identifies his or her aspirational brand. The length of this program is about 75 minutes.
This event is free to the public. There are 154 available seats in Presentation Hall (in the Gillette College Main Building.) You can RSVP to
Business and Economics Instructor Mike Agron.
The March 2020 lecture is slated for March 5th, also at 7pm (they will always likely be on Thursday evenings at 7pm), and will be Prof. Jeffrey Wehrung from Black Hills State University.
