Healing Hearts Home Health is an outreach member of the FUEL Business Incubator. Based in Moorcroft, they have clients in Campbell, Crook, and Weston counties. They are certified and registered nurses that will come to your home if you have trouble getting out to see your doctor, if you have physical or occupational therapy needs, or medication administered.

“When you get home from the hospital and you’re confused about your discharge orders, and need a little extra help getting your medications sorted out, we help with that transition from health to home,” says owner Lacy Davis, a Registered Nurse. “A lot of the time doctors don’t know what a patient’s home looks like and that they may have obstacles there, so that’s where we fill in to make your home safe.”

Client (and now Office Manager) Rhonda Smith had foot surgery and struggled to do everyday tasks like getting in and out of the shower. Healing Hearts Home Health came to her home and showed her the best way to get around in her wheelchair, and then later with her scooter.

“Some people say it’s the little things that matter to your health, so they do all kinds of things to help,” Rhonda says. “The CNAs and the nurses make you feel comfortable when you’re in an uncomfortable position.”

The staff is on call 24 hours a day, but they do have office hours from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. They accept all pay services, including Medicare/Medicaid and VA insurance.

“If you call us and are questioning if you can afford home health, we try to find our patient’s different pay sources to help not pay out of pocket,” Lacy says. “I have parents, too, and I know how expensive it is to keep them at home.”

Healing Hearts will help you find community resources and fill out any paperwork necessary to help with your home care. They also provide end of life care to help families transition through a difficult process. They have four nurses on staff currently, and six CNAs. They also have occupational, physical, and speech therapists available, as well.

If you have any questions, you can call them at 307.756.9200, or visit them online
