DaNece Day has been practicing law for 21 years, and has recently opened a solo practice on 201 W. Lakeway Rd.

“I’m calling myself a little bit of a boutique,” she says. “You don’t get to really ‘specialize’ in law but I am focusing on family and juvenile law and what goes along with that.”

Grandparent’s rights, guardianship, and custody issues are some of the things she deals with at her location. She’s created a space that is friendly and inviting to families, where parents will feel comfortable bringing their children while talking about business.

“I work with a lot of social service agencies in that I represent clients who have children involved or are involved themselves,” she says. “I spend a lot of time trying to make sure that I’m involved with organizations that impact families.”

This year Day Law sponsored the Donkey Creek Festival because it was a community event that involves generations of family. She wants to make sure there are always events in Gillette that will impact families for good.

DaNece is also a graduate of our Gillette Area Leadership Institute, class of 2002. Her office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. She’s available 24 hours a day by phone. You can see their full details here.
