The Campbell County School District’s Nutrition Services Department is committed to feeding children while schools are closed due to COVID-19 concerns, according to a March 18 release from the district. CCSD has designated six schools within the county as pickup spots for student breakfasts and lunches, beginning Monday, March 23. The designated schools include:
- Hillcrest
- Pronghorn
- Stocktrail
- Prairie Wind
- Cottonwood
- Rozet Elementary
Meals will be distributed from a school bus parked on location at these schools and the buses will be open for meal pickup to anyone 18 and under between the hours of 9:00 A.M.—12:00 P.M., Monday through Friday while schools are closed. Students can pick up both breakfast and lunch at the same time but must be present to receive their meals.
All meals are free and available at each site to any child regardless of where they attend school or attendance area, and no documentation is required at pickup. The meals provided are available for pickup only, and may not be consumed onsite.
