A Helping Hand is one of the FUEL Business Incubator’s outreach businesses. That means that while they are a new business that takes advantage of the amenties of the incubator, they don’t have an office on-site at the facility on Sinclair Street.
That’s because owner Barb Massie spends most of her time providing non-medical, elderly companion care for Gillette.
“If you need help once a week, if you need help daily, we’ll tailor the service around whatever your needs are,” Barb says. “I do all the fun things with people. We go on day trips, we go grocery shopping, we help with meals.”
If you or a family member would like to remain at home as long as possible, but still need help getting to and from medical visits or doing chores around the house, A Helping Hand may be who you need to contact. While the service is not currently covered by insurance or medicare, it is an important addition to Campbell County for those who need some assistance.
You can contact Barb Massie at (307) 689-0291. See more photos at our Facebook page!
