VERN SCHILD, BLACK HILLS CORPORATION –
Vern is a long term employee of Black Hills Corporation where he has served in roles as Plant Manager, Department Manager, and have been part of the growth of the power generation fleet in Wyoming and South Dakota for over 32 years. He is currently the Director of Reliability and his office is located at the Gillette Energy Complex. He is a member of the Black Hills Corporation Political Action Committee and takes interest in issues regularly reported at Federal, State, and Local levels through this entity.
Vern has served on various community Boards, including the Chamber. He has served on the AENR committee since the ending his Chamber Board term a few years ago. “I sincerely enjoyed serving on this Board as well as working with staff in past activities, events, and committees and fully understood the duties and commitments associated with the position as it was a few years back.”
Vern’s leadership experience, business knowledge, specifically in the Energy sector is important to everyone in Campbell County, and can represent these interests by serving on the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce Board.
