| | Ticket Guidelines |
- Begin giving tickets to your customers November 16, 2009
- Keep your tickets in one secure, designated area.
- Set a policy for your business on how you and your staff will distribute tickets throughout the promotion.
- Business Owners and employees are NOT eligible to win from tickets distributed from their own business. However, employees ARE eligible to receive tickets from other businesses and win in those businesses.
- Give out tickets consistently and post the distribution policy for all staff to see as a reminder throughout the promotion.
- Ask your customers to kindly write their names clearly on the tickets. This will speed up finding the winning ticket on each Saturday.
- Illegible tickets will be discarded at the drawing.
- Contact the Chamber (682-3673) if you need additional tickets. They cost $25.00 per 1,000. PLEASE NOTE no refund for unused tickets.
- Explain the promotion to your customers and give them a flyer listing the participating business and sponsors. We have provided 25 flyers in your packet, along with an original so that you can make more copies as needed.
- Give the ticket portion to the customer and you keep the ticket stub! Have a container for your employees to place the ticket stub into as they give out tickets.
- The stub portion of the tickets must be separated and put in a container by 2:00pm each Friday. A member of the retail committee will come by and collect these tickets each week. If you are having a remote at your location, you will be able to give out tickets right up to the first drawing.
- Tickets will be rolled over giving your customers many chances to win. Remember, they must be in one of the participating business to win and we need to keep giving tickets out through the weeks by encouraging customers to keep shopping in Gillette!
- The live remote site will be manned each Saturday starting at 11:30am – 1:30pm.
- All non-winning ticket stubs will remain in the drum for subsequent drawings.
- The Chamber will keep track of the ticket numbers purchased by each business so an announcement can be aired stating the participating business where the winning tickets were distributed from. The name of the business where the winning ticket holders were during the time of the drawings will also be announced during the live remotes.
- The drawings will begin at approximately Noon at the participating remote businesses.
- Ideally the winning ticket holder will come to the remote and we will be able to do extra promotion for the businesses.
- Media will meet with the 4 participating businesses who are hosting the remotes to discuss in advance what they wish to promote on their chosen day.
